You can say that my maternity style puts a lot of emphasis on the belly… I want people to know I’m pregnant and that I didn’t just gain a few pounds over night. 😉 I get stopped a lot by older women who tell me that they love that I’m showing my belly because back in their day they weren’t really allowed to show it off, that it was supposed to be hidden so they wore really over sized baggy dresses and tops that were very unflattering. Put me in something like a moo moo and I would have a heart attack. Speaking of moo moo’s… I’m putting my labor bag together and I needed to buy some night gowns and hospital gowns but all of them are so ugly! I don’t care what condition I am in… I will not allow myself to be put in one of those things. So I went on Nordstrom.com and found really cute ones! I’ll have to do a post of all the things I put in my hospital bag. Have to find a way to remind myself since I have major preggo brain… praying it goes away after baby is born. My fear is I will put him on top of the car (in the car sear of course) and drive off. I keep fearing that because I’ve done it so many times in the past with coffee, books, folders, I mean everything but now that my car is very high it happens less frequently. Ok, I’m off to meet with my accountant… quarterly business taxes are due… I hate this time of year. Have a fab fab curvalicious Friday friends! <3 E.
