Thailand, it’s so third world and in some areas you can feel it most. A lot of times they asked me where I am from, I would respond with “Los Angeles” and they would be like “where is that?” I would say “California”….. no idea. So the rest of the trip I just “The United States Of America” “U S of A…. you know?” haha I thought this trip came at a perfect moment for us all. Because like every person in the World we all have problems in our lives, and sometimes we may not realize how petty or actually big they really are until we step away from them and take some time to collect our thoughts. Thankfully we are fortunate enough to be able to travel and spend a week away in the holy world of Thailand to do so. It is one of the most spiritual places I have ever been to. I really felt connected to everything that surrounded me. It was crazy because before my trip I had begun to think of how spiritual I started to feel within myself. I cannot explain it, but let’s just say Thailand allowed me to better understand it. I am not buddhist but the religion was so capturing & beautiful to see. How all the people worship, bringing food & drinks to the sacred elephants & buddhas. Each temple signified a different type of buddha is was absolutely marvelous. After Thailand I hope to connect better with my spiritual instincts, the natural beauty, nature, & simplicity of this World. As hard as I will try, I don’t want to get caught up in the materialistic world. Hard when you work in a world of fashion…. optimistic word: TRY.
